Funded EAL Program

COURSE INFORMATION

Our funded EAL program provides training in English language reading, writing, lisitning, and speaking skills from beginner to advanced levels. Our morning classes focus more on speaking and listening and our afternoon classes focus more on reading and writing. Both the morning and the afternoon classes include grammar and vocabulary lessons as well as opportunities to participate in school activities and learn more about Canadian culture and society.

All of our funded EAL program instructors are professional English language teachers with many years of Canadian and international experience.

The class materials for the funded EAL program include student textbooks and workbooks, audio/video materials, printed resources, and other digital resources.

Students with CLBs (benchmarks) above CLB 3 are eligible for this program.
Please note that funded EAL students also need to meet the financial criteria established by the Government of Alberta.

Our EAL classes take place Monday to Thursday (except holidays).

Students MUST take both classes (full-time program) to be eligible for the funded program:

Morning: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Lunch Break: 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm
Afternoon: 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
